yp_err_string

yp_err_string --  Returns the error string associated with the previous operation

Description

string yp_err_string ( void )

yp_err_string() returns the error message associated with the previous operation. Useful to indicate what exactly went wrong.

Beispiel 1. Example for NIS errors
